Empire Stores Christmas
Brooklyn Bridge Park came alive every night from December 5, 2006, to January 7, 2007, with a special lighting show on the riverside of Empire Stores, and lighted artwork under the Manhattan Bridge. The Empire Stores building was an original warehouse of DUMBO and now may become a shopping mall.
The Sweeney Building, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Tobacco Warehouse, Fulton-Ferry State Park, East River, and lower Manhattan all come together in DUMBO from the walkway on the Manhattan Bridge.
